So, I bought this 1995 F355 Spider in March 2010 with 124 miles on it. It presently has about 1,400 miles on it

Yesterday I had the wheels off, and just did a quick (literally 5 minutes) wipe off of the suspension and caliper. There's a certain kind of clean, where you can tell it has never been dirty (like down inside the middle of the rotor)

The next 1.5 weeks, I'll be getting it ready for Concorso Italiano (getting a late start)

As I go along, I'll take more photos and post them here.

Thanks guys. I'll post a bunch more as I get further into cleaning it this week. It's crazy, the nuts and bolts in that photo haven't even been wiped off. The only parts I cleaned prior to snapping that shot were the black painted parts.

I would love to see pics of the outside and interior also. It is crazy that someone bought that car and never drove it for 15 years. It looks great!

    Oh, my, Paul!

I just had my wheels off to do the stainless steel brake line upgrade and I spent a bunch of time cleaning in the wheel wells, but it doesn't look like this! Please post additional photos for reference, would you?

Seems like all you will need is a feather duster!

wow, very nice indeed!! ok now that car, I'd be more hesitant to drive it in rain and snow looking that nice underneath. Mine with 40k+ miles....well let's just say she's seen snow for the novelty of it :D

    Keep the pics coming!

I haven't been around a whole lot of 355's, so I'm not sure which parts on mine are exceptionally nice, but this is certainly the nicest wiper arm I've seen on a 15 year old car.

I seriously have to see this car sometime. If you go to Santana Row after Concorso, let me know. It would be so cool to see a no bs showroom condition 355, especially because I'm in the middle of a major, and miss my car like you wouldn't believe.

Love clean original cars like this.No matter how much you do to restore a car you cannot replicate that factory fresh look.

    Two more from last night.
Look, brand new 15 year old tires! (planning to replace them with Michelin Pilots after Concorso Italiano)
The date stamp is a bit blurry, but says "MB095", which I'm almost certain means the 9th week of 1995.
I've done some twisty roads on them, and they handle surprisingly well for such old tires. They have no cracks or signs of age.

Sometimes I wonder if this whole car was stored in an oxygen free bubble or what. Via Google maps, I have photos of the building where it I believe it lived for the last 15 years (address from the title). Just an ordinary brick building (converted from a firehouse, I think) in Pittsburgh PA. The previous owner's family may still live there, so I won't post that photo.

    Paul,

Thanks for starting this thread. Like many, I suspect, I would like to know what was done to recommission the car. Was it just changing all the fluids, fitting new battery etc. Was the car started, warmed up and so on during its long hibernation?
In any case, congrats on your purchase!

    Ron.
