    Vern, thanks.

    I ordered the fiberglass spare tire panels for my 308 on 3/10, Friday.
    He said they were new in stock in New Jersey and would have them shipped to his Arizona store, and would then call me.
    Well, it's been 21 days, and he won't return my calls. I've called about 5 times, even talked to Sandy. She said she would try to find the order and call me with more info. No call back.. :(

    My body shop is waiting on these things, not sure why GT Car Parts won't contact me, so I can at worst, move on to some other solution.

    I agree, same experiences many times, even told me he was doing me favor selling me parts that I could get at T Rutlands for the same price, small orders rarely get filled also.

    Bill hung up on me tonight, because he was mad that I was bugging him.

    My parts were due in last Friday, and I hadn't heard from him. So I was trying to get an ETA.

    My body shop is waiting on these parts....

    I hope he'll go ahead and send them to me if they ever do come in.....

    I have been waiting on a rear bumper and some AC duct parts for my '85 308 Euro from him for about 6 weeks but I still believe he will come through. The trick is to call him early in the morning between 8-9. I have reached him 4 out of 5 times on the first try. His email address is: [email protected]

    I have stuck with Bill all these years because nobody I have found beats his prices but I agree his service is the absolute worst. I'm not sure what the problem is atleast I know I'm not the only one. I always thought I was just ugly or something LOL. He goes out of his way when I visit the shop to help but that is as far as the quality of service goes. Another way around it is to talk to Dave at the shop that sometimes helps to get stuff quicker.     I ordered a ton of stuff from Bill over the years. I have never had bad service from him. Even for the small stuff, he always came through. I am very surprised to hear this.

    Thanks for the positive word on Bill. I can only speak to my experience, but hey, we're all entitled to a bad day.

    Hope he doesn't read this--he might cancel my order!! :)

    I too have bought aton of stuff from Bill over the years. Sometimes he's hard to get a hold of but I always do eventually. He has been very helpful helping me get the right part. I am very surprised to hear that he hung up on you. If you are ordering new parts and can't wait call Daniel Pass at Ricambi America he will get the order out to you as quickly as is humanly possible.

    Same bad experience - don't count on him calling you back, that never happens.
    Several mixed orders too, including a radiator fan with motor, even after lengthy discussion on describing it and double checking to make sure it was the correct one as there are no returns on electrical items.

    If you ordered with a credit card or debit card, you can do a chargeback, customer is always right according to the credit card companies.

    Sorry to hear of grief. Just finished a full engine rebuild and service was fantastic. I only ordered if parts were in stock. Many times asked for Next Day delivery and got it. Have returned parts (not electrical) with no trouble. Prices are good. Never asked them to special order anything for me. Have been using and recomending them for 15 years. Still do!

    I just ordered some small parts from them and received them immediately. I spoke to him several times within a short period of time and he also called me back regarding some 308 engine lid hooks. No problem at all.

    Could not say enough good things about Bill and GT. Sometimes he gets busy and doesn't call me back, but the free advice and great prices really makes up for any short comings. He is fantastic at helping me work through problems.

    After 2 1/2 months of excuses I finally gave up on Bill to find a replacement 308 rear euro bumper. He said he would check with his fiberglass guy repeatedly but he would never call me with any status.

    Bill is THE MAN! He knows more about these cars thany anybody out there. Remember, he has no time for "attitude". Just know what you want and don't try to haggle. He will always be fair. Anybody who can be friends with Bob Wallace obviously has some patience, so if you pissed him off it's your own fault!

    Fifteen plus years and I've NEVER had a problem. Bill's fill rate is better than most others and he's helped me find stuff unavailable elsewhere, even in Europe and the UK. His customer service has never left me in a bind.
