Been a member of L/P Forum for a long time. It has nothing but useful information about the marque and most of the owners (including myself) are very friendly, just very opiniated which is not a problem in mind just leads to a more healthy debate.

I checked l-power a while ago. Thought it was pretty terrible, tried to "get in the beat" for a week or so. Didn't like it. Forgot about it.

 

Lambo Power does need the approval of Ferrari owners (Specially 308 owners) and bi-polar personalities like Doctor Martz.
We are not only about Lamborghini cars and technical data but mostly about Lamborghini life style, no wonder some of the old generation Lamborghini owners resent us, they just don't have life left in them..

We really don't care...

All we need is Allan Fiedler's approval.

Whenever I have ANY question about anything, I just google for Allan's great wisdom, and the answer is all-apparent. Allan Fiedler offers more to humanity than Ghandi, Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandella, and Enzo Ferrari combined (but not Ferrucio Lamborghini, Allan offers just exactly as much to humankind as Ferrucio did, though I'm certain that he'll soon surpass him with more wisdom within the next few months).

Allan knows more about the Lamborghini lifestyle than anyone and he has blessed us with the greatest gift possible by providing his continued wisdom and philosophy on the greatest website ever created (far greater than the websites created by Ghandi and Martin Luther King), and I only hope that I can live in his image forever and ever.

So what if there are opinionated people on Lambo Power? - get over it!! - it's better to be part of a passionate and enthused web community (and Lamo Power is unequivocally the BEST Lamborghini forum on the net) where there is discussion, deliberation and debate. All view points/perspectives are appreciated and welcomed.

The only people who get a hard time on the Lambo Power forum are the ill-informed, trolls, and dreamers (i.e pretenders rather than Lamborghini enthusiasts- owners or not).

I've been involved in a number of lively debates including some which have questioned my decisions/choices and indeed taste - but hey it's better to have a counterpoint to consider - than a load of ambivalent, ambiguous, inane responses.

I'm sure the people who can't take the heat of the Lambo Power kitchen are the same sort of people who, in their business lives, like to surround themselves with "yes" men!

Well, I bet his site is better than Ghandis and Luther Kings, as there were no Internet when they lived tool.

 

I will ring in on this one as well...First Lambo Power is the best most informative Lamboroghini enthusiast website on the planet!!! I feel Lambo power is Lamborghini, more subverive, more hardcore. I have been a long time member there, since the beginning, and everyone that has been banned deserved it! Allan lets alot more debate happen then other sites, in other words takes alot to get banned there...I have met more owners, real owners, there then any other site. They are not as fast to call real owners out like some other site. I remeber a L/P member had just gotten a Enzo, he went to a another website told the guys he was excited, and wanted to share his enthiasm, and the guys on this other site called him lier, and really made feel like he did not belong...and many if not all the guys that called him out do even own a 308, let alone a 348..This stuff doesnt happen all that often on L/P...Just like the old Ferrari guys that think all lamborghini are like the coutach, I would say if you have not been to L/P (or driven a modren car) check it out first, you will enjoy it...

 

well this troll retired at age 32, and i like lambos as well as all cars but the negativity and rudeness of that site was the point i was trying to make. i can hold my own with anyone on the planet lambo owner or not, so i cant understand why owning a lambo makes you better than anyone else. the lambo lifestyle? what is that? what drinking wine, traveling, eating out, watching your plasma, driving your car to meet other drivers, alot of people have that lifestyle big deal.

Ellens site seems to appeal to teenagers that echo everything he says to desparately fit in, the same goes for many other like minded members, its just mindless babble and a waste of bandwith. What is their to learn I see no one on the level of Fchats knowledgeable members, all I see is fanatical hate preached in threads such as Ferrari *** Sightings and Polishing a Turd (308).

To the dealers that advertise there or participate in forums they must find this acceptable as well, I would avoid them even if they had a Ferrari I was interested in for sale or to visit and I would tell the same to anyone else.

I really do not know what to say to your comments..so you are saying because a dealer sponsor L/P you feel you should not do business with them...? You talking about alot if not most dealers...

I guess I do not see it that way...I see livly debate and harmless bantering, such as the ford vs. chevy thing...it is not real...Ferrai guys do the samething..i.e. the cringing cow...I sponsor both L/P and Fchat...the Ffag section is ment to be in good humor like the guy who wheres his favorite band shrt to there concerts...It is supposed to be in fun and games.

J.P. I understand that you are Ferrari car owner and that you may take offence to the Ffag sightings, that is understandable. But I have no control over L/P site content, and if I did...I would not change it, because it is in all good fun...nothing personal....I have respect ofr the Enzo..F40 and 50

 

I don't have a problem with harmless bantering between marques but Ellen seems to cross the line, this thread is a perfect example and one of many.

As I mentioned I know several local members with Lambos and we don't seem to have this problem at all.

 

In all honesty some of the same can be said of this site. God forbid you say anything negative about any Ferrari....or for that matter, not capitalizing ferrari is treated the same as not capitalizing god.

My biggest (reading) enjoyment on these forums is the hitler youth, sheep-like, party toting, cult-like following responses that NON OWNERS have on these sights (got cyanide?). As a Ferrari owner I feel I've earned the right to both praise my car/Ferrari, AND ***** about it (the Ferrari experience/car) if I want to. Frankly I get a kick out of reading the BS from some dip**** who can barely make his hyundai payments vehemently tell me if I don't like my car to sell it to someone who "appreciates" it and defending Ferrari honor. It's very easy to make them get their panties all wadded up in a knot.

It's almost as funny as egging on the senile retirees on hunting/gun forums...... some of those old bastards gotta have the nitro near the keyboard....

But you know what, it's just a chat forum on the internet. It is part entertainment and yes, part informative. I don't take much of what I read seriously, hell, I don't even take myself seriously.

Oh and here's a clue.....it's just a g o d d a m n c a r......

FWIW that's why I like the Aston Martin forum, most people there are owners. It's more civilized, but then again maybe because they're limeys and don't wear silk shirts, gold necklaces/bracelets, double barrel pinkey rings like I do.......

 

Well stated if someone doesn't like L-Power don't go to the site. The beauty of the internet is people can decide what sites they visit and those they don't.

Very simple really

 

Allan is sometimes exciting, sometimes funny guy. He is a Lambo fan and he doesnt like Ferrari. He shows his dislike in a joking ,agressive and funny way without attacking you if you not attack him. He is a nice guy .I am a L-P member as a L-O. I like all the members like rakjoe,baylambo,v10power,spweazel and all the others i remember......
They always help you if you have a problem or need help!!
I like the site we talk sometimes funny things some times serious thing. And when i have a problem with my car , I post the problem at L-P site before i call dealer. And this nice site help a lot thing to me with my Lambo. Also i learned some general things.

I am so happy with the site. People who need some info or fun must be sign to this site. Especially the Lambo-Owners
