Thanks Dave. Last post on that thread is April 2017. Anyone out there suggest a current battery for our 575’s? Looks like AGM is the way to go.

    Figured it out!
I am not certain if this applies to all 550s or just Euro Cars / Japanese Cars?

    As the title states.
Replaced my alarm siren with the direct replacement corvette alarm siren, alarm functions well with the appropriate beeps etc.
When I turn off the quick disconnect switch, to put the car to sleep, the alarm sounds, seems like others had this issue, when they changed from a Ferrari Alarm Siren to a Corvette Alarm Siren

Solution to prevent this from occurring....

    Disarm Car
    Open Door
    Pop hood
Arm Car with Fob - with hood up
    Disarm Car again with Fob
Wait for 2 min until the red light on the dash flashes (car auto arms itself)
Turn off the disconnect switch to put the car to sleep
    Done

    Alarm will not sound!

Turn switch back to on to fully wake up the car as per usual after a winters hibernation

Hope this works for others that had the same issue
