F-14 Tomcat vs F-15 Eagle

The Typhoon wouldn't stand a chance against the Raptor and would lose a Flanker at any givin time. That plane was mainly designed to compete against such aircrafts like the F-15, F-16 and F-18, Su-27, Mig-29 some very old out dated airframes let alone try and pose some kind of threat to newer planes. It has no edge over a raptor because 1)The raptor is very stealthy2) the raptors got thrust vectoring and the eurofighter doesn't.

Without a doubt it comes down the pilot yes but also the plane has to get some kind of credit here. the Iraq Mig pilots where good back in the gulf with the 29 but look what happed they got slaugtered!.

Why sukhoi pose a threat to the raptor in a dogfight? because sukhoi is still stuck in the stoneage, they are still learning how to use the sword and basicly we brought the sinperrifle to the fight. They believe dogfights are still in and thats why there aircrafts are built more old school as you would say where as Lockheed martin has made a great attempt to elminate the dogfight with the raptor. What the enemy can't see can't kill.

 

Su-47 was a prototype and i highly doubt that it has even spared against other Migs or Flankers.

We may have better pilots but you gotta think this is like take a Lamborghini to a trackmeet against some civics. most of the time the lambo is gonna dominate.
