    Hi Clax,
Don´t tested in top gear yet, right?
Tell me and I will buy it.
I´ve asked about the torsional rigidity because in the 430 they made really a strong effort at these point and I think because of the comments of the test drivers superior than the 360 sp.
the lambo, I saw it yesterday on the mag and it was incredibly beautiful.
Don´t know if more than the 430, but almost perfect, maybe it has been made by "MICHAEL ANGELO".
    Thank u again

Espana is marevellous, in the south of spain in marbella is the best place to have a ferrari, but .. I live in madrid that is fantastic but not so much to own a f because of the weather (better in marbella but still ok in M) and mainly because there are few and these makes it unconfortable.

    Where about in Europe?

Concerning torsional rigidity I'd think the Gallardo isn't worse than the F430 since it has a very similar spaceframe layout. And having Audi in the back, with all their experience with the spaceframe technology, shouldn't be a disadvantage either.

Talking about the looks I think the Gallardo Spyder is the most beautiful open sports car currently available. I like the F430 very much (got a red/black Berlinetta), but I prefer the looks of the Berlinetta to those of the Spider (well, obviously ;) ). The 430 Spider doesn't look bad, but without the roof and the hatch-back-style-glass-engine-compartment-lid (nice word :) ) there's something missing for me. Also the whole back with its new Enzo-style rear lights looks too high to me without a roof.

The Gallardo is already a very nice car as a coupé (though I'm more attracted by the beautiful fluid lines of the F430), but it really shines as a convertible. But without the roof, the Gallardo with its flat back, those numerous edges and the typical angular design this car is really just breathtaking.

F430 will be much fun than Gallardo Spyder.
The improvements of Gallardo makes th car better but i'd go F430 spyder

By the way when you open the hood of Gallardo the view and the show of engine is not so good. Its very complicated sight of engine.
But under F430 hood then engine is looking so attractive and so wild.

    A good question?
Why doesnt F and G spyder do not use roofs like SL and SLk which is not a tent.
It will be much heavier but they can handle this and make people to buy Spyder's much? Am i wrong

    I WANT TO SEE A F430 GTS!!!!

First I think it makes the car too heavy but there should also be problems with the fold mechanism and the mid engine layout.

Gallardo Spider, you could go to the dealer and put a deposit down now. Plus, I think it looks better than the F430. But in the end, its still your money.

I have family in Malaga and friends from Marbella, Andalucia, Canarias, etc. My family origin comes from the Basque country and from las Islas Canarias, but I would like Marbella of course or Malaga, I have stayed in Barcelona and Madrid and have traveled around many places of Spain. I also have my godfather thats from Genoa and his wife lives in Perugia and they will be there for whatever I need, a very close friend who lives in Holland also would help in anything, but for me theres nothing like Spain. Also my brother is a flamenco guitarist and its very important for us to live the music, I also play guitar but in the neo-classical side and Spain is the best country to live guitar. We will move over later on and also to a place where we can enjoy driving the Ferraris, my brother spent 6 months over there last time he visit and was constantly driving at over 90mph every time he could and never got busted.

My wifes favorite car was the 360/430 Spider, until I took her to the L.A. Auto Show. The moment she took one look at the Gallardo Spider, the game was over. I couldnt pull her away from the car.

Myself, I have never liked the looks of any convertible, and the Gallardo inmo, is the first convertible that looks fantastic.

Lastly, inmo, im not a fan of the looks of a 430 Coupe, and the convertible only looks worse.

Allan, I myself have always been a coupe guy, but I always thought the 360 Spider as a convertible with the top down looked great. I have since sold the car, but I have to admit the Gallardo as a Spider does look fantastic as well.

It's personal taste really, but i would go for the Gallardo Spyder.
The 430 Spyder looks even worse than the coupe version, the back end seems too tall, whereas the Gallardo Spyder is very beautiful

    From my board:

Finnaly I have removed my self from the cult dancing donkey.Traded my 6.0 , 575 and CS for 06 murci roadster in orange and Gallardo se in Silver. I now suffer from insomnia from staring at my garage amd numerous late night runs.

Only the Stereo and sedimental value is missed from my 6.0. (first Lambo)
The murci has more room for me. I love the look of the 6.0 but to me it was a little under braked and sized. Murci fits me much better and I cannot wait to take the G SE to the track. That litle bugger pulls like hell.[/quote]

Love it and even wifey loves it. remember my deal as long as I buy her one too I can get whatever toy I want. The SE has great sound tremendous steering feel for an all wheel drive car and silly power. The little changes really add up. I am glad I waited on getting the G. I am pretty sure the G is faster on a track than the Murci. The SE's quality over the stradale amazes me. maybe its a year of beating on it but the CS felt like it aged 5 years in the 4000 miles I had it.

    Oh, Allan ... :)

I like the swap, but I think I would've needed to keep the stradale

I would agree. The handling, braking and lighter weight more than make up for the lesser horsepower.

Until they change the interior in the Murcie..it will be a car a long way away from the 6.0. The interior in the Murcie is not at all exotic..the gauges look like somthing from K-mart. But its a huge over all improvment over any Diablo but I still get a funny feeling in my stomach over the 6.0.

Should this be moved to the Lambo forum? Or maybe a German car forum of some kind?

from a looks standpoint, having seen both; Id say the exact opposite, the F430 spider is awkwardly proportioned and not that great looking, the GOOD stuff is the gallardo....as for driving I have no idea, never drove either, but I suspect the G will not dissapoint. Its a fantastic vehicle.

Same here as far as never having driven either, but my local dealer sells both cars; both marques sitting fairly close within the same showroom.
I find the F430 to be a stunning car while the Gallardo design easy to ignore.
