Here's a bit more info. http://www.autoblog.com/2006/11/01/sema-v-x-amazon-the-retro-volvo-stunner/ I am no expert on Volvo engines, but I would guess this engine come from an early 90's 960.
Second Test Drive Completed. We'll soften rear shocks, adjust lash in rear end, bed in brakes, etc. Car runs really well. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm not really diggin' those rims. Are they completed, or will they be painted at some point? I understand going for the bigger rim and modern rubber but they look a bit "truckish". did you consider doing something like this: http://www.americanracing.com/browse_vintage.asp otherwise, that is a kick-@$$ car! and I agree with others, the stance is perfect.
We had those wheels made to look like Hubcaps but they are Billet wheels. With the spinners they look pretty cool.
OK - got it - pardon my ignatz! Love the setting for the pics - but, make sure that guy hosing down the entrance doesn't splatter a single drop of water, grain of sand or corn on there!
I was in Illinois this morning. She'll be done in about a month. Her engine is fantastic and her Corvette suspension really makes her handle well. Her 4 wheel disk brakes are great and her air ride is wonderful. Meg and I can't wait to go on long trips in her. She has a LOT of Torque and hauls. She has a great rumble.
She was out there a while a go to check her out and pick the paint and interior etc. but this time it was Sal and I. We started in Detroit, drove Duesy, Studz and 0846 and then on to Illinois and her 57. All will be coming home soon. Her paint is amazing very subtle metal flake and pearl that pops in the sun up close. Hope U R well!! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
