Hi, I bought my shield stickers from eurospares.co.uk and are the 100mm size soft plastic padded type and have been on for 7 months with no problem. They also stock the other stickers. I just bought the paint code sticker for rear trunk from them as well.

    Hope that helps.

Their website can be confusing but if you look at both listings you will see it's the same part number. There is no difference between the 2. When you click on the 2nd one down with the picture that shows many of them you then click where it says 'will it fit my car' and it says part number 3, only the shields. They are very good quality original Ferrari.

Check to see if the metal "Yoshield" cloisonne design are still available. I think you can buy them on this site. If you want shields, best to get the highest quality ones.

Actually, they have metal shields available on e-bay for only $45!

I have a question for you guys in Europe. My car was completely debadged by a previous owner. One so far back, it's before any of my history, but I have a good idea all the major modifications to my car were done by the same owner and auto shop. It was painted metallic black from red (Mondials weren't metallic black from the factory to the best of my knowledge), dyed the interior, added a tubi exhaust, added an aftermarket stereo, radar detector, and alarm, etc. He also painted the front grill completely black and had a black Ferrari insignia put on the trunk lid, which I have since turned back to chrome. Anyway, all the Mondial 3.2 badges and the Pininfarina badges have been removed from both sides and the rear, and this badge (attached photo) is now in all three places. Since I got the car I've asked everyone I could for information on Vatche and the relationship, if any, to Ferrari. Have you guys ever heard of this? Do you recognize the Vatche insignia? All I've been told is that they are a high end European watch maker. The way I look at it, my car is either worthless because it's been debadged, or with worth more the the average Mondial as a one-off. Probably the first one.

I'd appreciate any information you might have as to the history of my car.

    Regards,
    Brian

I bought my Shield stickers from the Ferrari dealership here in Australia and they were unusually cheap at $8 each

NO! No Mondials came with Scuderia Shields on front wings nor were they factory options.
The ones you see are what owners have added as a personal taste. Ferrari use to paint shields on their race cars back in the day, factory optional shields these days are bolted on the imprinted shield wings and is an expensive option in the thousands of dollars. Personally, I don't like the stickers or raised resin decals. I choose the metal ones as they look cooler and more expensive. To each, their own.

To Shield or Not to Shield threads, we have 3:

Shield installation is right up there with:

    Type of Oil used
    Type of Wax used
    Time of Belt replacement

    Cheers,
    Greg
