Man Vs Food. Sort of a love hate relationship with that show. It was funny but man some of the stuff he ate, or at least the amounts, were pretty wild!!!

That's the show! He did seem to get pudgy and pasty in the final seasons. I liked the spicy food challenges. Watching him trying to cram down tons of grub before his body's "I'm full" mechanism kicked in was too much for me...T

Man VS Food was fun too watch. One of the best burger experiences was the Hoss Burger at the Ponerosa Ranch theme park in Incline Village NV, it was one or two pounds of beef on a giant bun. The park closed a few years ago though.

Tonight is beef dip with homemade prime rib.

That's one of the best leftover meals ever!! I still have a nice chunk of prime rib in the freezer I should cook up one of these days.

I made a quick pasta last night using some tri-tip that I hadn't cooked up yet and shrooms. Ended up turning into more of a gravy than a sauce but was still tasty!! Served over bucatini.

Made roughly this tonight. Used more lime juice and also about a 1/4 cup of Naked Brand Mighty mango smoothie.
Holy **** is that good and easy. Got it started and took my son to the park. Stopped at the corner store on the way back for plantains and black beans.

Pork with rice and beans and tostones was a very good meal. 2.5 year old approved!

    Mmm. Looks tasty.

I made salmon salad sandwiches. Cooked two salmon fillets in a skillet. Flaked it up. Added Wolfgang Puck's dill sauce. A bit of wasabi. Mixy mix. Spread on toasted whole wheat bread. Add a slice of fresh tomato. Squirt of Tabasco sriracha. Served it with a few pickled turnips...T

Hey, that's great! :) It really is easy, too.

If you have any pork left over make Cuban sandwiches.

Basically ham, swiss, mustard, the pork and pickles on a toasted roll.

Since we're in Cuban sandwich confessional mode. :) I don't like mustard. In fact, I never liked any condiments until I moved to the South, and discovered Tabasco and salsa. I do like Cubans though. Place out near Big Pine Key does a good one...T

    butbutbut mustard is awesome!!!!!!

You really don't like any kind of mustard? Even honey mustard? :)

I'm currently hooked on Coleman's UK but have about 6 different kinds in my fridge at any given time. Always dijon, spicy brown, stone ground, and bavarian sweet. Need to get another jar of habenero-spiced Mustard From Hell; sweaty good heat and flavor with beef.

Didn't snap any pics but tonight me and the wife made blackened turbot, dirty rice, and honey-caramelized brussel sprouts. Wish a side of good Rémoulade from a jar.
    YUM

There is a Western New York/Buffalo area brand of mustard called Weber's that has horseradish in it. Not too spicy, just a notch above normal mustard but with more flavor. Goes especially great on a good natural casing hot dog like Sahlen's. Heintz & Weber Co, Inc. — Products

No. Can't stand anything with mustard in it. Any variety. My grandma didn't like it, so I must have acquired my distaste from her. Ketchup too while I'm fessing up. And, relish. I ate my hot dogs plain as a kid. Until, I discovered the chili dog. 😀 Then, I read The Jungle by Upton Sinclair! 😳😁

I am with you, I only put mustard on hot dogs. Not sure if they still make it, but there was a good Jack Daniels Horseradish Mustard. However, spicy mustard is a key ingredient in my crab cakes..

Tonight I went Mexican style..Mexican rice mixed with sautéed orange bell peppers, poblanos, red onion, mushrooms, diced tomatoes and shrimp. Sorry, no pics.

I like all condiments except Miracle Whip. Its got to be real mayo. My sort of girlfriend, known her since elementary school. She has always hated condiments. She'd order a big mac with no condiments. She's still a no condiment person today.

My mother in law is the same. Her favorite line is " I've never had that before" which is her way of saying that she won't eat something. My grandma made Italian food most of the time, but encouraged us to always try new things. Apart from condiments, I try to follow her maxim. Sometime it leads to disaster like the sardine cake fiasco of 2014! 😁

Stadium Mustard, sold only in Cleveland, is some of the best mustard in the world. I have it sent to me and have it on hand at all times.

Pommery's the best mustard imo. Only problem is remembering to order it on Amazon - at $16/jar - and then waiting days for it to arrive. Tried stocking up, but the kids eat it on everything and so it goes quickly. Good ol' Grey Poupon's a regular go-to around here. Costs next to nothing, easy to grab on regular supermarket runs, and better than most pricier stuff, like Maille, etc. Still a distant second to Pommery though.

Also a big fan of mayo. Of course homemade's the best, but that's not always practical. Don't have a favorite store-bought brand, but always open to suggestions.

Won't touch Miracle Whip. Grew up on it. Hated it then; hate it more now.

Can't think of anything that's better with ketchup than without.

Try Duke's mayo. Has a lot more flavor and tang than Hellmans. Not as good as homemade but it's the best you can buy in a shelf.

There was a Canadian pickle company called Bick's. They made a very good red relish, or commonly called hamburger relish. It was very good. They got bought out by an American company, they discontinued most of the Bick's brand. I miss it. It was the closest to the relish a restaurant here uses.

hmm have to ask my bro to look for this in Cincinnati, or get me some when he's in Cleveland. They just gave me 4 cans of Skyline Chili when visiting over Easter.

Have a jar of scharf Lowensenf in the fridge now that quite tangy and goes great on brats.
