As always, I'll be happy to help with the setup on Saturday or Sunday morning if you need me, Verell!
It's only about a month untili this year's BBQ!! Don't forget to put it on your calendars & RSVP via eMAIL. BTW, I've got a real treat this year, I ordered a case of my favorite BBQ sauce from a small company in southern Oklahoma! It's been 5 years or so since I've had any!!!
Hi Verell, I'm looking foward to your BBQ. I'm available to help with set up and take down. It's always a good time and the food is delicious. I will e mail you with details Regards, Rex
I always love it when someone else does the cooking. Authentic BBQ sauce from Oklahoma?? Oh my!! I'll be there with the Chef.
eMAIL RSVPs have been somewhat lighter than usual, so I'm extending the eMAIL RSVP deadline. If you think there's a good chance you can come, but can't quite committ, please go ahead & respond. I don't mind having some extra food if it turns out you can't make it. Also, in your eMAIL indicate if you can help with Setup, or stay an hour or so afterwards to help with cleanup. Regards, Verell

Earlier today I sent an eMAIL to the BBQ 2011 distribution list, hoping to reach people who haven't been monitoring Fchat NE. I alsosent an eMAIL for menu coordination to a the new BBQ 2012 distribution list of those who have sent RSVPs this year.
It's going to be warm tho, a high of 90 degrees. Great top down weather, but don't forget the sun screen.
If you RSVP'd, you should be receiving daily "coordination" emails & directions went out mid day today. Thanks to everyone chipping in, we've got the menu pretty well covered! We're down to 4 things w/o volunteers: Iced Tea A Merlot or White Zin wine Cole Slaw - about 3 pints Potato Salad I'm inclined to punt on the potato salad as FastRadio is bringing a Pasta dish & someone else is bringing the pasta Jambalaya that was well received last year.
Verell If I can make it I will touch base and see what I can bring. It will unfortunately be later in the afternoon. Ron Frohock
My friends, that was the best BBQ yet....Great food, cars, people and plenty of provocative conversations. A special thanks to the Ribman for his super tasty, cooked to perfection, ribs! All and all, a perfect day! Verell and Cindy; thanks for hosting this bunch and opening your home to all of us. It was greatly appreciated.
It was great till that Fastradio guy showed up Seriously though, thank you Verell for hosting another great BBQ for the local community. Great to see friends, great to see a few new faces as well, and always nice to see a few cars line up too!
