Well, the Diablo all but blew away the entire field in our last Lambo poll. Over 200 votes, a new Lambochat record. Many people mentioned they would vote for the Miura, but I omitted it. Yes I did. Now is the chance, FINAL SHOWDOWN. Diablo or Miura????? Best Lambo ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Miura is even more "rooted" than the Diablo, have to go with it, where it all started. :)

Oh yes. The battle that I thought we would have. Tied at 6. A couple of heavyweights battling it out. Vegas oddsmakers have the Miura a 3:2 favorite.

I've got my cash on the Diablo. The Muria is old.

No, no, no. The Diablo is timeless. The car will always look modern no matter how old is gets. The Muria on the other hand is old and looks old. It may well be the car that got things started but the Diablo is the boss.

the sexiest car in humankind history: MIURA

P.S. I've always wondered if the Porsche 928 headlights were inspired by the Miura
    does anyone know?
on the other hand the Diablo featured the most predictable and boring hidden pop_up headlights at the time.

Miura - Most beautiful car design ever
Diablo - Most menacing car design ever

Damn, I have never been this torn between two cars on a poll before!
I'll have to flip a coin.................Heads, The Diablo wins! Whew! That was nerve racking. I don't ever want to go through that again.

I don't think we can know that for sure. One might have said the same thing about the Countach in the 80's....and now, imho, while a beautiful car...it looks, well, 80's ish. What will dictate whether or not the diablo is timeless is what various designs will be in the future, and we can't predict that....

So will this be an old school 15 rounder? We don't want to hear any excuses as to why the Muria lost.

Don't get me wrong, my second favorite Lambo, no question, is the 6.0 Diablo.

My 'kids comment' is that younger members who don't know the history of Lambo, or any of its models before 1980 will will skew the poll against what they see as a dated (because its older then them) slow (because it is slower many exotic cars today) car.'

Anyone who has seen and heard one in person knows the M is jaw dropping.

To be fair, I have never seen a Miura in person, but I have seen several Diablos in person. I might change my mind one day when I get a chance to see one.

EDIT: I wouldn't be so crazy about 512BBi's if I had never seen one or had a chance to ride in one before. Since I have ridden in one, I now know how special they are.
